My brother, Tim, really liked dating women. He enjoyed dating women called Carrie, Emily and Lucy when he was in his teens. He was keen on dating women called Sophie, Laura, Dianne and Sarah when he was in his twenties. He had a rest from dating women when he was twenty nine years old. Sarah had spilt up with him and he had been devastated.

I didn't feel all that attractive and I lacked confidence. I met a guy when I was at college called Gerry. I dated him for one year. I had been shy at doing all that much talking. I went on holiday with him to Spain. He had ended up going home early because his dad was ill and needed him help. I had stayed on but it had been really boring there one my own. In the end we just drifted apart.

When I was twenty one years old I won a car. That gave me a real boost to my confidence. I was just parking my car in a supermarket car park when I saw a very tall, dark and handsome man. Amazingly he came over to me and asked if I wanted to go out on a date with him. I had been so surprised. I said yes and we arranged to meet up outside the cinema at seven o'clock.

After going shopping I went home to have a shower, put on my best clothes and apply some makeup. I looked in the mirror before I went out. Tim gave me a whistle as I went out of the front door. I met up with Nathan and he gave me hand a soft kiss. We saw a romantic film and he had put his arm around me. At the end of our date Nathan had given me a warm hug and lengthy kiss. Wow!

Nathan and I found it difficult to be apart so we met up every day after work. We spent Saturdays together. I felt head over heals in love with him. We told each other "I love you my darling soul mate". Two months after we met Nathan went down on one knee and said "Marry me my darling Ruby. I want you to become my wife". I said "yes" because I wanted Nathan to be my husband. We got married in a little church and had our honeymoon in Malta. We bought a two bedroom bungalow that was cheap because it needed some work. Tim is currently single and hopes he will get back together with his ex-girlfriend, Sarah.
