Over a year ago I was on a free online dating site and had met this really nice guy. We had instant chemistry between us and we started talking daily on the site. We had a lot of things in common and found that we could talk for hours on end about anything and everything. So we exchanged phone numbers and starting talking on the phone as well as still talking through the free online dating site.

We both lived in different states so we really didn't have a choice to meet right away. Even though we did want to meet in real life, it was a little more difficult because we both had jobs. We couldn't just pick up and go visit each other. We did make plans a few times to meet, but something seemed to always happen to where we couldn't make the trip. All I wanted was to give him a big hug when we met, but it didn't happen for awhile.

We made plans in October of 2008 to finally meet. I drove to his house which was a 10 hour drive. It was a long way but it was worth it cause I was going to finally meet him and I was planning on staying for at least 10 days. So, I made the drive and when I got there 10 hours later, of course I was tired and stiff from the drive, there he was. It was 4 0'clock in the evening and I was starving. Even though I was tired and probably didn't look all that great, he had made a candle light dinner for me. That was so sweet of him, I couldn't believe it. I thought any women would me lucky to have this man as a boyfriend, or even better, a husband.

I couldn't believe that something as simple as a free online datingsite could be so wonderful. I really didn't think these kind of things actually worked. Even though some of my good friends said they have found really good companions on free online dating sites, I guess I really couldn't believe it until it actually happened to me. So, I guess you could say that it has made a believer out of me. When anybody really voices concern if they actually work. I speak out and so that they absolutely do work. You just have to keep and open mind and an open heart.
