Dean and Jerry decided they would go to a speed dating event that had started up in their neighborhood a few weeks ago. Jerry’s buddy Kevin has met several babes at these speed dating events and swears it was the best time he had ever had. After meeting not one but 4 women he wanted to get to know better, he has settled on just one of the woman after several dates with all of them. Kevin thinks a woman named Cynthia just might be the one he has been looking for and might settle down with her. While they are all happy for Kevin, they are all getting to an age they want to find that special woman and start a family. He has also helped some other guys they know, to get invites to these speed dating events. Dean and Jerry will be his second attempt at helping out some of his buddies.

Dean is still insisting he isn’t going to go but Jerry knows he will get him to go. After all, he has 2 weeks to talk him into it. The night of the speed dating event, Dean gets out of the invite. He calls Jerry up and insists he is too ill to attend. Jerry walks out the door without a second thought. He has a good feeling about the blind date and he can’t wait to get started. He is dressed casual and he feels comfortable and eager to get there and get started.

When he walks in every eye in the place is locked on the little lady in red. She has a beautiful red dress on and beautiful jet black hair. She is sitting at one of the tables and already Jerry can’t wait to meet her.

The instruction is given to everyone in the room and finally they are asked to pick a number out of a bowl and to find their sits at those tables. The event is set into motion. Jerry isn’t looking for a fling tonight, he is looking for something more. He hopes beyond hope this will lead him in the right direction.

One after another he hasa brief encounterwith each lady seated at the small tables. After exchanging phone numbers and making small talk with several very nice ladies, the bell finally rings and he sits with the lady in red. His eyes have been trying to lock on her all night. He has had to consciously work at not staring at her all night. He wouldn’t want to be rude to the other very lovely blind dates here tonight. Lisa is this gorgeous creatures name and he begins to try to win her heart.
