adult dating is so very different from when you’re a young teenager. The dance halls in our area are so popular with the very young to the much older dating crowd. Of course there are couples who cuddle in the dark corners and a whisper is seldom heard.

You also see many more couples in groups and they all dance with each other’s dates. It's fun to go as a group and then split off after a long night at the dance hall. I also have had some interesting dates that ended up on my dad's front steps with a whisper "I had a good time", with a kiss and a hug. Young and in love is so exciting.

Later when I was married, the date night almost always ended up in the bedroom with candles. My husband and I used to go all the timeto the dance hall and dance all night. Afterour little ones arrived it was less frequent but date night was still around.

The country and western dance hall was one of our favorite date night places. Of course we loved to go see a movie and whisper in the dark about what we were seeing and steel a kiss or two. That is one ofmy favorite parts of watching a movie. Well that and the popcorn of course!

The bedroom is our place to be alone, not just to be intimate, but the bedroom for us is almost always were we discuss most everything. When we don’t want the children to interrupt us, give us their opinions, or know what we don’t want them to know; the bedroom is the place we go.

I don’t think it is so different than what most married couples do. My bedroom has always been my sanctuary. I can’t remember a time I didn’t feel safe in my room. As a child, when I wanted to be alone, I was in my room. The other children in the house all felt the same way. We asked by knocking before we entered each other’s rooms.

That is where I practiced my music, did my home work, talked on the phone. I guess it may be different for the guys, but for me it was my bedroom.
